Our Ravishing Design

Hi Guys, we wanted to chat about the Super Bowl of floral holidays. You guessed it, "Valentines Day".

Here are a few insights as you begin to plan your valentine's/galantine's day adventures-

1)- Order in advance.

Check in with your florist to explore what they have available on their website and discover their special offers and incentives for ordering early. When you order early, you are more likely to receive better attention to your order when your florist is not overwhelmed by the Valentine's Day rush. Another great option is to have your order delivered to your special person before Valentine's Day, which falls on Friday, 2/14 this year! Consider sending flowers earlier in the week so your special someone can enjoy the arrangement before the holiday. This way, you not only avoid the rush, but also increase the chances of timely delivery and benefit from a wider selection of flowers.

Once more, not to repeat ourselves, but if you walk into any floral shop on Valentines Day and need to place an order that day, you may face a lengthy wait or, even worse, be turned away. Also, some shops may not answer or even turn off their phones on Valentine's Day to manage the orders they already have. Again, due to the volume, think Superbowl Floral Holiday! You don't want to end up in aisle 5 at CVS trying to get your beloved something.

2)- Have the correct info.

Ensure you have all the correct details for the person you are sending flowers to before placing your order, such as the recipient's name, accurate work or home address, suite or apartment number, phone number, and any special delivery instructions. If you're sending flowers to your Valentine's workplace, provide your florist with a home address as well. Many shops will be extremely busy that day, with deliveries often extending into the early evening. Due to the high volume, shops cannot guarantee timed deliveries. Always provide your florist with the recipient's phone or text number, as most people are more likely to respond to texts than calls when attempting to make delivery. This is crucial for ensuring your order reaches your loved one.

3)- BE flexible

Not everyone prefers Roses. There are numerous alternatives to the traditional dozen roses that you can choose from, though it remains a timeless option!

Consider allowing your florist to create something unique for you. Choosing Designer's Choice guarantees that you'll receive the freshest and most readily available products in their store, customized to fit various budgets. It's crucial to have a florist you trust when choosing this option.

Footnote

Lef is offering a special for Valentine's week! If you have your order delivered during Valentine's week (Monday 2/10-Wednesday 2/12) and spend over $100 on flowers plus a delivery fee of $11.50, you'll receive a complimentary box of either artisan truffles or sea salt caramels. Your Valentine will enjoy their flowers for longer, and delivering them to their workplace will make all their co-workers envious, earning you plenty of brownie points!
